Mosquito Squad To The Rescue!

CEO Blog, Community, News from GiftsToGive

So … here we were in mid-November trying to get warm winter clothes packages out the door for local children with inventory getting dangerously low. We put out a call to action and the results were overwhelming and allowed us to help a ton of local kids get the things they needed.

Key to this was the Mosquito Squad of South Eastern Massachusetts. In early December a fleet of pick-up trucks arrived chock-full of children’s clothing, books and toys.

Mosquito Squad owner Elisabet Laferriere had this to say:

“I hope we were able to help fulfill some needs!  I also want to thank our customers who participated in our Donation Drive for GiftsToGive We were able to deliver six trucks full of gently used kids’ clothing, toys and baby gear! Also, a huge shout out to the members of our team who volunteered their time (Kris, Rob, Chan, Ryan, Marvin – you rock!) to provide contact-less pick-up at donor’s homes and for loading and unloading all those goodies at the GiftsToGive Philanthropy Factory.”

Jim Stevens our CEO said: “When people ask us about how we are able to help so many local children, we tell them our story about Elisabet and her Crew and about a most perfect example of Corporate Citizenship in the form of the Mosquito Squad!”
