A bright and shining light called Jayden

Youth Philanthropy

On Saturday we met Jayden. She is a remarkable young woman.

Jayden is an eighth grader at our local middle school. She arrived with six gigantic boxes and a story.

“At the start of the school year, I applied for and was invited to join the National Jr. Honor Society. Which means that I have to get a certain number of community service hours per month. This was a bit more difficult with Covid19. So I decided to organize a family and friends coat drive. I ended up collecting around 100 winter coats and blankets.”

When we hear people talk about the problem with teenagers today, we politely listen and tell them our story about Jayden!
