Gifts From the SKY

SKY-Bible Camp

SKY Campers

An abundance of gifts came from the SKY (Summer Bible Camp) and found their way into the hands of hundreds of local kids in need, thanks to the children of St. Christopher and St. Theresa Parishes in Tiverton.

Jeremy Mello, Jonathan Klinker, Hannah Cook-Dumas, Jillian Aguiar, Nick D’Attello, Mia Ruggieri, Neil D’Attello and Chloe Katz (clockwise from left to right) are part of the crew who took on a mission project to help children along the South Coast who live in poverty.

The fifty-five campers took the camp’s theme, “Nothing is Impossible with God” to heart and proved it true.

Together they organized a collection of gently used items from their possessions and expanded the effort into their friends’ closets.

They filled two trucks and helped to fill the shelves at GiftsToGive.

The mission proved such a success, the teenagers involved in the camp are looking to make it a regular parish outreach activity.
