Dear Southcoast Reach Out and Read Coordinator: - Reach Out and Read Massachusetts is pleased to
be partnering with GiftsToGive in New Bedford to provide gently used books for waiting rooms at participating programs.
- As you may know, GiftsToGive has a dual mission: connecting students to giving and service, and giving immediate help to
kids who need basic essentials. Students and volunteers of all ages come to the mill at 21 Cove Street, where they sort and package individually targeted donations requested by community partners. While most donations
from GiftsToGive are directed to an individual child, Reach Out and Read programs may request boxes of bulk books for
use in their "literacy-rich waiting rooms"--always with the understanding that children are told that they are welcome
to take a book home. - To place an order, fill out our quick form below and a GtG
Volunteer will deliver directly to your office. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with me-and many, many
thanks to GiftsToGive for working with us toward our shared goals. Alison Alison Corning Clarke, MA, MSWSoutheast Regional CoordinatorMassachusetts Reach Out and Read(Office)
