Our south coast Community Service
Redistribution Center is open six days a week. We're building
inventory and the community connections needed to be available for all south coast children!
> We
are about giving students a tangible/immediate/sustainable opportunity to work for social justice.
Students actually "do" the work through our programs of: service learning, positive action,
community organizing and our favorite; working a "shift" at the New Bedford mill, processing, packaging and
filling orders for in-need south coast kids. Best of all; we are about experiencing the power of giving. >
VOLUNTEER for a "shift"
at the Cove Street Mill: Any work you can imagine is needed:
Mill volunteers: We've dozens of
jobs related to getting organized, processing donations and filling gift packages for local in-need children. Community volunteers: Networking and organizing, marketing, speakers,
service learning educators, graphic and web design and most importantly > community collections organizers. BOOMERS WANTED! We
are especially interested in part-time (unpaid) shift managers, to work with volunteer teams of adults and students. Help
us run the management end of the business. Photos and video (below links) will help you see the enormity, importance and joy
of this type of contribution.
> A three-hour shift, Monday through Saturday will make a tangible
difference. Dress is funky warehouse style (layered) and sensible footwear. If you want to volunteer, please let us know your
best dates/times. New Bedford Volunteer Form is here. Contact us to inquire about holding a drive. GiftsToGive™ 21 Cove Street,
